I spend my days boxed in a cubicle world as a working stiff and my evenings doing too much 1st & 4th grade homework, while trying to feed people, do dishes, clean up my home and make sure there are clean clothes for the next day. Then when all these chores are accomplished I try my hardest to bed them down at a decent hour. If I am fortunate enough after all this, I try to squeeze in a moment or two for my own self and my own dreams before heading off to bed and waking to do it all again.
You see folks; I am a single mama to two wonderful, however trying blessings. Red is my beautiful 9 year old daughter and Hively is my adorable 7 year old son. We live in the Burbs of Michigan and are a very strong family unit.
As an individual I have always been an aspiring writer for as long back as I can recall. Though I may be a late bloomer in this “blogging” world, I have only just realized what a huge opportunity this can be for me as a person to grow and learn.
So, I welcome your comments and hope we can be friends. Thanks for stopping by.J

Happy Father’s Day!! I’m a product of a single mother…and I don’t think single mother’s get half as much credit as they should…so, just wanted to say, that no matter how hard it is right now, one day you’re kids will thank you and will appreciate how hard you work to raise them…I know I did!
nice blog. keep writing!
